A quick and flavorful one-pot meal combining tender steak with pasta in a creamy tomato sauce, perfect for a satisfying dinner.

1lbsteak, sliced thin (sirloin, flank, or ribeye)
12ozpasta (penne or rigatoni)
2cupsbeef broth
1cupheavy cream
1cupdiced tomatoes (canned or fresh)
1tbspolive oil
1smallonion, chopped
2clovesgarlic, minced
1tspItalian seasoning
to tasteSalt and pepper
½cupgrated Parmesan cheese
optionalFresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Cook sliced steak until browned, then set aside.
Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until softened. Add beef broth, heavy cream, diced tomatoes, pasta, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10-12 minutes until pasta is tender.
Return steak to the pot, stir in Parmesan cheese until melted, and adjust seasoning. Garnish with herbs if desired. Serve warm.
