Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, then mix in orange zest, juice, and vanilla.
Fold in ground almonds and flour until just combined.
Pour batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 45 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
Mix powdered sugar with orange juice to make glaze, then drizzle over cooled cake. Garnish with almonds and orange zest.
Notes
For a richer flavor, let the cake sit overnight before serving.
