  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract (optional, for enhanced flavor)
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds (for topping)

Instructions 

  • Boil oranges for 1.5 hours, then cool and puree.
  • Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy, then mix in orange puree, almond flour, baking powder, and almond extract.
  • Pour batter into a greased 9-inch pan, sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45-50 minutes, then cool and serve.
