A rich and fudgy paleo brownie baked in a skillet, perfect for a quick indulgence.

Ingredients

Dried ingredients

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 egg egg (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp tapioca flour
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch sea salt (optional) sea salt (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil until smooth.
  • Beat egg and coconut sugar until frothy, then mix in melted chocolate.
  • Sift in cocoa powder and tapioca flour, add vanilla, and stir.
  • Pour batter into a 6-inch skillet and bake for 11-12 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, sprinkle with sea salt if desired, and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of sea salt on top before baking.
