Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon

Wet Ingredients

  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.375 cup milk (additional for batter)

Peaches

  • 1.5 cups fresh peaches, diced

Crumble Topping

  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 cup cold, cubed unsalted butter

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a 12-cup muffin tin.
  • Whisk dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix wet ingredients in a separate bowl until smooth.
  • Pour wet into dry, fold gently, then fold in diced peaches.
  • Combine crumble ingredients with cold butter until coarse crumbs form. Fill muffin cups 3/4 full, sprinkle crumble on top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For best results, do not overmix the batter to keep muffins tender.
