A quick and flavorful stir-fry combining tender beef with colorful bell peppers and onions in a savory sauce.
Ingredients

flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
Vegetables

red bell pepper

green bell pepper
green bell pepper, thinly sliced

yellow bell pepper
yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced

medium onion
medium onion, thinly sliced
Sauce and flavorings

vegetable oil

soy sauce

oyster sauce

cornstarch

water

rice vinegar

tbsp
honey or brown sugar

cloves
garlic, minced

grated fresh ginger

sesame oil

red pepper flakes (optional)
(for heat)
Instructions
Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, water, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside.
Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and stir-fry 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add remaining oil. Stir-fry bell peppers and onion 4-5 minutes until tender but crisp.
Return beef to skillet, pour in sauce, and stir to coat. Cook 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
Remove from heat and serve hot over rice or noodles. Garnish as desired.
Notes
For extra heat, add more red pepper flakes or serve with hot sauce.
