Enjoy flavorful turkey meatballs baked to perfection with pesto and melted mozzarella, a quick and delicious meal.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1.5 lb ground turkey
  • 1 egg egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 cup pesto
  • 2/3 cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400F (200C). Mix turkey, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and basil.
  • Spread 1/4 cup pesto in a baking dish. Form 16 meatballs from the mixture and place in dish.
  • Cover meatballs with remaining pesto and bake for 25 minutes. Add cheese and bake 5 more minutes.

Notes

Use fresh pesto for best flavor and serve with noodles or vegetables.
