Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour (Can substitute oat flour for nut allergies.)
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.5 cup vanilla or chocolate protein powder (Ensure Halal compliance.)
  • 0.5 cup maple syrup or honey (Use as a natural sweetener.)
  • 0.25 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Add-ins

  • to taste Chopped nuts (Can add for extra flavor.)
  • to taste Shredded coconut
  • to taste Dark chocolate chips (Ensure Halal-friendly.)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Add wet ingredients and combine until smooth.
  • Fold in add-ins like nuts, coconut, and chocolate chips.
  • Scoop mixture into a baking pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle chopped nuts or shredded coconut on top before baking.
