A quick and flavorful seafood dish featuring succulent shrimp cooked in garlic butter and finished with fresh parsley and lemon.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined) (fresh or thawed from frozen)

Dairy

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Produce

  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions 

  • Pat dry the shrimp.
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  • Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, and cook 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
  • Stir in lemon juice to coat the shrimp.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of paprika or chili powder.
