A simple and flavorful baked cod dish glazed with honey and soy sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pieces cod fillets (about 6 oz each)

Sauces and oils

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)

  • 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika (or ground black pepper)

Garnish

  • as needed Fresh parsley or dried parsley flakes

To serve

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Mix honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, and chili flakes. Season cod with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Place cod on a baking tray, spoon marinade over, and bake for 5-7 minutes until opaque and flaky.
  • Drizzle remaining glaze over fish, garnish with parsley, and serve over rice.
