  • 1 pound Ground Beef (Use 85/15 for the best balance of flavor and lean meat.)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (Minced; adds a punchy depth.)
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger (Freshly grated for warmth.)
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce (Use low-sodium for a healthier option.)
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar (Adds sweetness reminiscent of bulgogi.)
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil (Enhances flavor; add at the end.)
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (Optional for gentle heat.)
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions (Chopped; adds freshness.)
  • 2 cups Cooked White Rice (Jasmine or short-grain rice is ideal.)

Instructions 

  • Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic and grated ginger; cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, red pepper flakes (if using), and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in sesame oil and chopped green onions.
  • Serve the beef mixture over cooked white rice and enjoy!

Notes
