A delightful and easy-to-make dessert featuring fresh strawberries, cake, and whipped cream layered in individual cups.

Ingredients

Fruits and toppings

  • 2 pounds fresh strawberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream (very cold)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 10-12 ounce store-bought angel food cake or pound cake (crumble or cut into small pieces)

Instructions 

  • Combine sliced strawberries and sugar; let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Crumble cake into small pieces.
  • Layer cake pieces and strawberries in cups.
  • Add whipped cream on top of each layer.
  • Repeat layers, finish with whipped cream, and garnish with strawberry slices.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 hour.

Notes

Use cold whipped cream for best texture.
