Ingredients

Seafood

  • 1 lb raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)

Condiments

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 lime juice of

Vegetables

  • 2 cups shredded red cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 lime zest of

Tortillas

  • optional avocado slices or hot sauce

Instructions 

  • Toss shrimp with oil, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook shrimp in a skillet over medium heat for about 2–3 minutes per side.
  • Mix slaw ingredients together in a bowl and let it sit to soften.
  • Stir together crema ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  • Assemble: tortilla, slaw, shrimp, a drizzle of crema, and whatever extras you like.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the shrimp for 30 minutes before cooking.
