A delicious homemade flatbread topped with basil pesto, smoked salmon, and fresh herbs, perfect for a quick appetizer or light meal.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 70 g White Flour
  • 80 g Wholemeal Flour
  • 0.25 tsp Dry Yeast
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Oregano
  • 0.5 tsp Rosemary
  • 0.5 tsp Thyme
  • 0.5 tsp Brown Unrefined Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 100 mL Water

Toppings

  • 40 g Basil Pesto
  • 120 g Smoked Salmon
  • 10 g Parsley

Instructions 

  • Mix flours, yeast, salt, herbs, and sugar. Add olive oil and water, then knead for 2 minutes.
  • Form dough into a ball, place in oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  • Divide dough into 4 balls, flatten to 5 mm thickness.
  • Cook each flatbread in a skillet for 3 minutes per side.
  • Spread pesto on flatbreads, top with smoked salmon and chopped parsley. Serve.

Notes

Use fresh herbs for best flavor and serve immediately.
