A delicious and easy-to-make smoked salmon flatbread perfect for a quick appetizer or light meal.

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 2 pieces chipotles in adobo (canned) (see note)
  • 8 oz low-fat cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 2 Tbsp finely-chopped chives
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • ¾ tsp kosher salt
  • ¾ tsp granulated sugar
  • 4 medium flatbreads or naan bread
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz sliced smoked salmon
  • ¼ cup sliced red onions
  • 2-3 Tbsp capers
  • ½ cup fresh arugula

Instructions 

  • Spread cream cheese mixture over flatbreads.
  • Top with smoked salmon, red onions, capers, and arugula.
  • Drizzle with lime juice and olive oil.
  • Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the flatbreads sit for 10 minutes before serving.
