These soft, fluffy dinner rolls are perfect for any meal. Easy to make at home with simple ingredients, they come out golden and delicious every time.
Ingredients
Dough

warm milk (105-115°F)
2 1/4

active dry yeast

granulated sugar

egg, room temperature

unsalted butter, melted

all-purpose flour

melted butter, for brushing
Instructions
Combine warm milk, yeast, and 1 teaspoon sugar; let stand 5-10 min until foamy.
Add remaining sugar, egg, and melted butter; whisk until combined.
Mix in salt and gradually add flour until a shaggy dough forms.
Knead dough 6-8 min until smooth; let rise in oiled bowl for 1-1.5 hours until doubled.
Punch down dough, divide into 12 balls, arrange in greased pan, and let rise 30-45 min until puffy.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C), bake rolls 15-20 min until golden, brush with melted butter, serve warm.
Notes
For softer rolls, let them rise a bit longer before baking.
