A delicious and easy-to-make spring rolls recipe with a flavorful vegetable filling, perfect for appetizers or snacks.

Ingredients

Spring Roll Wrappers

  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 1 piece Onion thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Spring Onion Whites chopped
  • 2.5 cups Cabbage shredded
  • cup Carrot finely chopped or thinly sliced
  • cup Capsicum finely chopped or thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup Beans finely chopped
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli Sauce
  • ½ tablespoon Soy Sauce or Tamari
  • 1 teaspoon Rice Vinegar
  • ¼ cup Spring Onion Greens chopped
  • ½ tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 5 tablespoons Cornstarch mixed with water
  • as needed Oil for Deep Frying

Instructions 

  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan, add garlic and fry until golden.
  • Add sliced onions and spring onion whites, cook until soft and translucent.
  • Add cabbage and sauté until water evaporates, then add carrot, capsicum, beans, salt, and pepper; cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add chili sauce, soy sauce, and rice vinegar; cook for 1 minute. Finish with spring onion greens and sesame oil, toss for 30 seconds. Cool the mixture.

Notes

Keep the filling dry and cool before wrapping.
