Steak Fajitas {Easy, One Pot Meal}

Enjoy flavorful, tender steak fajitas cooked in one skillet for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 2 lbs beef steak, cut into thin strips (petite sirloin or similar)
  • 1 red bell pepper red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 1 green bell pepper green bell pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 1 yellow bell pepper yellow bell pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp canola or avocado oil (or other high smoke point oil)
  • 1 ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder (e.g., McCormick brand)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper
  • 2 Tbsp seasoning blend
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup lime juice, fresh squeezed
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • from half a lime lime juice (from half a lime)

Instructions 

  • Mix seasoning blend ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Marinate steak with marinade ingredients for 30 minutes to 4 hours.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet, cook peppers and onions with seasoning for 5 minutes.
  • Remove veggies, wipe pan, then cook steak in batches until done, combining with veggies at the end.
  • Garnish with cilantro, squeeze lime juice, and serve with tortillas and optional toppings.

Notes

Serve immediately with warm tortillas and your favorite toppings.
