A quick and flavorful stir-fried rice dish with tender steak and vegetables, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 0.5 lbs sirloin steak
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster (flavored) sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 3 tbsp onions (diced)
  • 0.5 tsp white or black pepper
  • 3 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, corn, carrots)
  • 1 egg egg

Instructions 

  • Mix oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and pepper to make the sauce.
  • Cube steak, marinate with half the sauce for 30 minutes.
  • Cook steak, then set aside. Prepare garlic, onion, rice, vegetables, and remaining sauce.
  • Stir-fry steak in oil, then set aside. Add oil, garlic, onion, rice, vegetables, and sauce to wok, stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
  • Push rice to one side, scramble egg in the empty space, then mix everything together and cook for 1 minute.
  • Garnish with scallions and serve hot.

Notes

Use high heat for stir-frying to prevent sticking and ensure quick cooking.
