A delicious and wholesome baked oatmeal combining strawberries and bananas for a naturally sweet breakfast treat.
Ingredients
Dry ingredients

rolled oats

Wet ingredients

milk of your choice

mashed very ripe bananas

maple syrup or honey
(if bananas aren't very ripe, use more sweetener)

chopped strawberries
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray an 8x8 or 9x9 inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
In a large bowl, whisk together oats, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
In a separate bowl, stir together milk, mashed bananas, maple syrup, and eggs. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in strawberries.
Pour batter into the prepared dish and bake for 30-40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of vanilla extract or a handful of chopped nuts.
