Instructions
Combine strawberries, 1/4 cup sugar, and vanilla; let sit 10 min.
Mix dry ingredients; in a separate bowl, combine wet ingredients.
Mix wet into dry; pour into baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 min. Cool.
Whip cream until soft peaks form; sweeten if desired.
Cut cake into cubes; layer with strawberries and whipped cream in cups. Repeat layers and top with whipped cream.
Notes
Use fresh strawberries for best flavor and serve immediately.
