  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil ((sub: avocado oil))

Vegetables

  • 1 small white onion (diced; about 1 cup)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)

Main Protein

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef ((sub: ground turkey))

Broth

  • 1 cup beef broth ((sub: chicken broth))

Instructions 

  • Mix chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, oregano, paprika, and sugar in a small bowl.
  • Heat oil in a skillet, sauté onion until softened, then add garlic and cook briefly.
  • Add ground beef, cook until browned, then drain excess grease.
  • Stir in seasoning, add broth, and simmer until mixture reduces, about 5 minutes.
